biggerstrongerfastermovie.com BIGGER STRONGER FASTER: NEW DELETED SCENE FEATURING “MR. OLYMPIA” JAY CUTLER. “RAUCOUSLY FUNNY, SURPRISINGLY COMPREHENSIVE AND INSIGHTFUL. A fascinating and unexpectedly profound meditation on what we have become as a country.” — Carina Chocano, LA Times In America, we define ourselves in the superlative: we are the biggest, strongest, fastest country in the world. We reward speed, size and above all else: winning — at sport, at business and at war. Metaphorically we are a nation on steroids. Is it any wonder that so many of our heroes are on performance enhancing drugs? From the producers of Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 comes a new film that unflinchingly explores our win-at-all-cost culture through the lens of a personal journey. Blending comedy and pathos, BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER* is a collision of pop culture and first-person narrative, with a diverse cast including US Congressmen, professional athletes, medical experts and everyday gym rats. At its heart, this is the story of director Christopher Bell and his two brothers, who grew up idolizing muscular giants like Hulk Hogan, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and who went on to become members of the steroid-subculture in an effort to realize their American dream. When you discover that your heroes have all broken the rules, do you follow the rules, or do you follow your heroes?

@Faelian6t5 Either, one, he is too large of an endorsement for MuscleTech to lose, or, two, it is the way Jay phrased his interview. Unlike Christian, who directly admitted using steroids, Jay indirectly admitted his use by “implying” it. Jay doesn’t bluntly say “I use steroids,” he says “I have the edge, and that’s why I’m the best.” This allows the listener to interpret his statement anyway they want to. It’s very much a loophole in the contract.

@Faelian6t5 When an athlete signs an endorsement contract with a supplement company, there is a clause within the contract that says the athlete must not discuss his/her steroid use. This is why Christian Boeving was fired by his sponsor, MuscleTech, after this film premiered, for breaking his contract.

Jay admits using steroids in this film, but still endorses MuscleTech. And there are only two possibilities I can come up with as to why Jay wasn’t fired.

@Faelian6t5 I’m not familiar with any professional bodybuilder covering up their steroid use. Other athletes, yes. Bodybuilders no.

It is very rare to see a bodybuilder discussing their use of steroids, the reason for this is the supplement companies. Jay, Branch Warren, and Johnny Jackson all endorses MuscleTech. Kai Greene endorses MuscleMeds. Ronnie Coleman endorses BSN, and so on.

They can use steroids all they want, I don’t care. Just don’t look at non users as weak or inferior. I do get tired of seeing steroids users on every single magazine cover, it starts to cloud reality. Reality isn’t the guy on the cover, its the guy next to you in the gym, struggling to bench 300.

I found the bit where he talked to Jay Cutler interesting. You dont hear about Bodybuilders talking about steroids too much, they are always making up lies to cover it up.

Coleman and Cutler look like they’re pregnant in the opening scene.
