what i do when i want to cut fat or simply bring my cardio up is……..jump rope in the morning on an empty stomach 3 to 4 times a week for 10-15 minutes……drink a cup of dark coffee or green tea before and just go……logic behind this is that you will instantly start using fat calories as energy as opposed to glycogen or sugars…but don’t over do it because there is also a risk of losing muscle mass, so listen to your body

he is not a trainer for move the most weight, he is into sport training like football strongman where have to move. Its true that the strongest people on planet will generally be bigger, but for the majority its healthier and you’ll probably be stronger and feel better if your not carrying a lot of EXCESS fat. Also a lot of those bigger athlets don’t carry ‘blubber’ they are pretty solid and can move just look kind of fat since there so huge.

I understand what he said. I was simply asking his opinion of such large athletes who if they weren’t that size they couldn’t perform such big lifts.

    “My friend, Joe DeFranco”.

Assuming he’s telling the truth, that’s basically the only cert he needs.

I agree that he probably should have avoided quite the level of peppy insult, though.

he said that was fine if your content with that, but in many sports you have to move and excess FAT slows you down and is a little useless. There are plenty of lifters in shw class that don’t carry A LOT of excess fat, a little is fine if your going to be huge. That excess fat has no use really so no point in having it.

Awesome video – not sure how I missed it when it first came out.

True enough. I think his heart is in the right place. The way he speaks is a often effectively used coaching strategy. I respond well to this type of motivation as do many. However, youtube hits everyone. I honestly doubt he meant any offense and from watching his videos believe he is worth listening to.

I’d encourage you to check out all of his stuff and discourage you from dismissing someone based on their degree.

I respecr what you believe but all i am saying is I am not gonna take advice from a guy who just insults people and probably is using a plan that he used. Not everyone has the same genes.

Impressed. Why a degree in exercise science or even nutrition? I just read a book called “The Testosterone Advantage Plan,” which talks about how often nutritionists have been wrong in the past. Sometimes I think Sport and Exercise science shouldn’t even be called science considering how often things that come from them end up changing or being proven wrong. Nutrition is far worse.

I am bout 220, i got 315 the other day and a degree in exercise science would be nice. Is this guy a nutrionist i doubt it

A degree? What kind of a degree should he have? Most of the fitness advice that comes out of college is proved wrong over time.

Most of what you do in your gym was developed by guys like this.

Someone has blubber butt syndrome. Take his advice and make yourself even more badass. 300lb bench is impressive, what do you weigh though?

this guy can suck my balls i can bench over 300 lbs i am 17 and i am the center. Blubber butt my ass i doubt he has a degree
