L-glutamine tablets – How much should I take a day!?

March 10th, 2010 | by admin |

I have bought L-glutamine tablets (500mg), on the bottle it says take one tablet a day, meaning I would be taking 500mg a day. I have been reading over the internet however and a lot of the sites suggest taking 5-10g a day, which is a considerable amount more. I’m not sure how much I take in with my diet either. Any help would be great.

Thanks a lot – Cal

L-glutamine supplements are a waste of money. Glutamine is found in abundance in all meat, chicken, and fish, and a lot of vegetables. Anyone who eats normally already gets plenty of glutamine. Taking glutamine supplements is like adding a thimbleful to a barrel.
